This is another minor release with a feature requested by a customer.
It is now possilbe to change the description when the results have been downloaded or saved. This is to help people who forgot to set the description up originally and it just shows as “unknown”.
The new name will appear in reports, in the exports, and can also be saved in a new file. Since this is potentially a way to bypass the audit trail (e.g. allowing a user to take a good set of results and pretend they were for a different location), the location will be prefixed with a “*”. This is an indicator that the name has been modified.
The user that requested the feature would preprogram loggers but would not know where they were used for until on site. Consequently the description could not be set before hand. This new feature allows the description to be entered after the event. For them it was an ongoing problem. For us, it was a quick fix.
